Donate Your Gently Used Books Today
Support Literacy, Enrich Our Library, and Keep Books Out of Landfills!
We Love Donated Books!
Our mission is simple: we rescue books, give them new life, and turn them into treasures for you to purchase and enjoy.
We are the Friends of the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an active team of volunteers who support literacy, libraries, and our community.
We work with the beautiful Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library (https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library/branches/tysons-pimmit-regional) to take in daily donations of hundreds of books, making them available for resale to the community through our quarterly used book sales, everyday lobby shelf sales, and online sales. We rescue books to keep them in circulation!
We work to:
· Support literacy
· Encourage the reuse of books and keep them out of landfills
· Bring attention to libraries, helping to develop their services, materials, and facilities for the community
· Receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests for literacy purposes
We truly love and support our library community!
Join us (tysonslibrarybooksale@gmail.com) to connect with fellow bibliophiles who support the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library and literacy programs, and make a difference in our neighborhood!
We sell 15,000+ books at each of our Quarterly Used Book/Media Sales
Check our calendar for dates! Books are offered in 20+ categories including Cooking, History, Biographies, STEM, Culture, Fiction/Mystery/Sci-Fi, Classics, Self-help, Business, Hobbies, Religion, and so many more! We also have DVDs, CDs, audio books, graphic novels and manga, puzzles, and games. In addition, we have lots of books for children of all ages. We love your donated books, so our dedicated team of volunteers have carefully cleaned, sorted, and priced them for resale (most between $0.25 and $4).
Shop our everyday lobby shelves, too

Shop the whole wall of lobby shelves for current and notable titles in categories like Children's, History, Cooking, Fiction/Mystery, Classics, Business, Romance, Health, Family, Culture, Self-Help, Humor, Travel and more, as well as books for Children of all ages. Donate your books and media
When it's time to clean out your own shelves, bring your gently used books to us! Place 1-2 bags of books or DVDs/CDs/audio books, puzzles, or games in the bins at the library's front doors, or contact us to drop off larger boxed donations at the library's loading dock. Email us at tysonslibraryfriends@gmail.com or call (703) 338-3307 to arrange a time.
